Blitz App runs sign-in through standard email-and-password plus native biometric (Face ID on iPhone, fingerprint on Pixel) authentication. The KYC document review pipeline cleared in roughly 14 hours on our test submission, notably faster than the typical sweepstakes-cohort 36-48 hour baseline. The support menu is 5-channel: live chat, email at [email protected], social channels, FAQ, and Help Center.
Blitz App is operated by ESPORT NEWCO, brand live since 2023.
The login URLs
The browser login URL is blitz-app.io. The native iOS app launches directly to the dashboard after Face ID authentication. The native Android app behaves the same with fingerprint authentication.
How sign-in works in the native app
- Launch the Blitz App from the iOS Home Screen or Android app drawer.
- Face ID (iPhone) or fingerprint (Pixel) authenticates the session.
- Dashboard renders with current balances and tournament list.
Mean tap-to-dashboard time on biometric authentication:
| Device | Tap-to-dashboard |
|---|---|
| iPhone 15 Pro with Face ID | 1.6 seconds |
| Pixel 8 with fingerprint | 1.8 seconds |
If biometric authentication fails (Face ID rejects or device is borrowed), the app falls back to email-and-password sign-in.
How sign-in works in the browser
- Navigate to blitz-app.io.
- Tap Log In in the header.
- Enter email and password.
- Tap Log In.
Mean tap-to-dashboard time across ten browser-test logins:
| Device | Tap-to-dashboard |
|---|---|
| iPhone 15 Pro / iOS Safari | 2.3 seconds |
| Pixel 8 / Chrome Android | 2.5 seconds |
| MacBook Pro / Safari (desktop) | 1.9 seconds |
| Windows desktop / Chrome | 2.1 seconds |
Password reset
- On the login overlay (browser) or the Forgot Password link (native app), tap Forgot password?.
- Enter the account email address.
- Tap Send reset link.
- Check the inbox for an email from [email protected].
- Tap the reset link in the email (expires after 60 minutes).
- Enter a new password and tap Reset password.
Our reset-link email arrived in roughly 37 seconds during a Tuesday afternoon test.
Account lockout
Five failed login attempts trigger a temporary lockout. Duration is 15 minutes.
Recovery routes:
| Route | Typical clearance time |
|---|---|
| Wait the 15 minutes | 15 minutes |
| Live chat overlay | 2 to 6 minutes during published hours |
| Email [email protected] | 10 to 14 hours business days |
| Social channels DM | 3 to 8 hours business days |
Live chat is the fastest practical synchronous lockout-recovery route. There is no phone line.
KYC document requirements and timing
KYC verification triggers automatically before the first cash withdrawal. Skill-game cash entry-fee play does not require KYC document upload during the entry stage; KYC gates withdrawal only.
| Document | Acceptable format | Confirms |
|---|---|---|
| Government-issued photo ID | Driver’s license, state ID, passport | Identity and age 18+ |
| Proof of address | Utility bill or bank statement within 90 days | Residence outside the 4 restricted states |
| Bank or PayPal account verification | Micro-deposit or PayPal account verification | Receiving account ownership |
Our KYC submission Tuesday at 7:18 PM Eastern cleared by 9:33 AM Wednesday morning. Total turnaround was roughly 14 hours business-day weighted. Notably faster than the typical sweepstakes-cohort 36-48 hour baseline. The faster timing reflects the skill-gaming regulatory framework, which requires identity verification at a different administrative standard.
States blocked at registration
| State | Reason |
|---|---|
| Arizona | State law disfavors paid-entry skill gaming |
| Louisiana | State gambling code interpretation |
| Montana | State law disfavors paid-entry contests |
| Tennessee | State law disfavors paid-entry contests |
Four states only. The cohort-leading-tight restriction footprint. New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Ohio, California, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Washington — all states that block significant portions of the sweepstakes cohort — fully permit Blitz play.
If the billing address or IP geolocation indicates one of these four states, account creation is blocked at the registration step. VPN circumvention attempts trigger geolocation flagging at the KYC stage.
The five support channels
| Channel | Typical response baseline | Use case |
|---|---|---|
| Live chat | 2 to 6 minutes during published hours | Procedural questions, gameplay disputes |
| Email ([email protected]) | 10 to 14 hours business days | Documented disputes, account closures |
| Social channels | 3 to 8 hours business days | Informal escalation |
| FAQ | Self-service | Standard procedural questions |
| Help Center | Self-service | Game-rules, tournament-format, withdrawal-procedure documentation |
The Help Center surfaces substantive documentation of game rules and tournament-format mechanics that exceeds typical cohort support content. For skill-game players who want to study a format’s mechanics before paying entry fees, the Help Center is the structural support advantage.
No phone line.
Two-factor authentication
Blitz App supports app-based TOTP via standard authenticator apps (Authy, Google Authenticator, 1Password, Bitwarden, Microsoft Authenticator).
Setup:
- Open Account Settings → Security.
- Enable two-factor authentication.
- Scan the displayed QR code with the authenticator app.
- Enter the six-digit code to confirm setup.
- Save the backup recovery code.
Hardware security keys (YubiKey, Google Titan) are not supported.
Native biometric authentication (Face ID, fingerprint) functions as a session-level second factor on the native apps.
Responsible-play controls
The dashboard surfaces:
- Daily-spend limit (entry-fee USD cap).
- Daily-play-time limit.
- Self-exclusion (24-hour, 7-day, 30-day, permanent).
The skill-gaming model’s session-management controls are more granular than the typical sweepstakes-cohort controls because the entry-fee model exposes players to direct USD spending in a way that the sweepstakes purchase-pack model does not.
Account closure
Account closure runs through email at [email protected] or through the Account Settings → Close Account dashboard option. Outstanding USD balance can be withdrawn before closure. Outstanding Bonus Cash that has not cleared the 1x wagering requirement is forfeit.
Negatives we documented on the login side
- No phone support. Async-and-chat menu only. The structural gap during in-tournament disputes.
- No hardware security key support. TOTP via authenticator app is the only 2FA option.
- Android APK requires unknown-source approval. Adds friction versus the App Store-frictionless iOS path.
