This policy explains what data Clubsweepstakes collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. We collect as little data as we reasonably can. We do not sell reader data to third parties.
What we collect
Server logs. Our web server logs the IP address, browser user-agent, referrer, and timestamp of every request. We use these logs to monitor site performance, investigate abuse, and produce aggregate traffic statistics. Logs are retained for 90 days.
Analytics. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics platform to measure aggregate page views, scroll depth, and outbound link clicks. We do not capture personally identifying information through analytics and we do not build cross-site profiles of individual readers.
Affiliate tracking. When you click an affiliate link on this site, the destination operator may set a cookie that identifies us as the referring source. This allows us to receive commission on qualified sign-ups. The data collected by the operator is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
Reader-submitted information. If you contact us through the contact form, we collect the email address and message you submit. We use that information only to respond to your message and we do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit opt-in.
What we do not collect
We do not collect names, postal addresses, phone numbers, financial information, or government-issued ID. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not embed third-party social-media tracking pixels. We do not require an account to read editorial content.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies for site preferences (such as dark/light mode and language selection) and for affiliate-link attribution. You can disable cookies in your browser without losing access to the editorial content.
Children
This site is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us so we can delete it.
Your rights
If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory data-protection rights (such as the EU, UK, or California), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected] with a description of your request.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
